IJ Start Canon PIXMA MG8250– The Canon Pixma mg 8250 is the best of Canon’s current printer family, aimed at photo enthusiasts. The MG 8250 is a matte black box with a large black rectangle by default and the edges of the curve are beautiful. At the top of this device is a large color display of 8.8 cm. The resolution of the scanner is improved up to 4, 800×9, and 600 pixels, making it even more effective for slide and film negatives. The scan quality is very impressive. Colors are reproduced accurately, and the finer parts of the picture can be captured.

Of course, scanners can also be used to copy photos. It is very fast to use for this purpose. While most competing models took 18 seconds, you could pump out a black and white test page in just 12 seconds. The results were superb. The copy looks very similar to the original.

Print speed and quality

If you use a lot of printers, the fast printing speed of this model is attractive. I won’t be hanging you for a long time before I spit out the results. I shook a 10-page black-and-white text document in one minute and five seconds, the fastest speed of the inkjet model. The previous generation of Canon printers is slow on duplex printing, but this model is not so good in this area. It only took two minutes and 53 seconds to complete the double page of the text document.

It was faster when printing color. Our 10 page graphics test took only 2 minutes and 5 seconds while our business presentation was complete. It is also the fastest machine to be tested for photo printing. Our snap 4×6 inches was delivered in 32 seconds.

The other good news is that these speeds do not sacrifice quality. The rich, vivid colors and striking details are reproduced in the darker areas of the image, making them look gorgeous.

Our business presentation also had no appeal, and the colors and details of the graphics test were superb. No need to print text. Since the text in the test document looked crisp and precise, it can be mistaken for the output of a good quality laser printer. This is a high evaluation.

Printing costs

The integration of the MG 8250 is relatively high in printing costs. The printer uses six separate ink cartridges. This is especially true for making high quality printouts for your photos. However, these cartridges are not cheap and are higher than the average printing cost. The black-and-white pages are counted around 3.6 p, and the color sheet is approximately 8p. The paper cost is 0.7 p, but it’s still more expensive than the competition, except for the S-series models from Lexmark.
