IJ Start Canon PIXMA TR4510– The Pixma G4510 is designed for small or large companies and Canon has done well to group together as many features in a compact and convenient device. Design

The Canon Pixma G4510 is one of the smallest four-in-one devices that have been tested. The automatic document feeder and its 100 page tray folded into an oblong box are rather nifty. This means that when you are not using it, you can drag this MFP into a drawer in the workbook. Rather than the usual glossy black finish, which tends to attract dust, the G4510 is matte black. Our only concern is that all the many moving parts feel a little fragile.

Characteristics

As a 4-in-1 device, you can print, scan, copy, and fax, but there are plenty of features. Wi-Fi is built into instances and you can use Wi-Fi Direct instead of a network.

The feeder tray, along with the surprising amount of plain paper, may also contain envelopes and photo paper of any size up to A4, including Canon square photo paper.

For black and white printing, the Pixma G4510 is fast, but the color photos take a lot more time. The print resolution is acceptable at 4 800 x 1 200 dpi, but you can find it at a lower price. The scanner resolution is also not impressive at 600 x 1200.

Some key features are missing. Make sure, before you buy, that you need to print documents on both sides. The Pixma G4510 cannot print on both sides and does not have either a USB port or SD card slots, which we felt was very annoying.

Setup and Operation

The Pixma G4510 configuration is simple and simplified by useful videos that are linked to QR codes in the printed user manual. It is usually not necessary to watch a video to launch a printer, but if you have to pour expensive ink bottles, it is worth to get all the tips you can find first.

Most of the features of the Pixma G4510 are very easy to use, but we have a lot of trouble understanding how to scan a document for some reason. It’s just not the most intuitive interface and the two-line display is a bit frustrating.
The performance

The text documents came out pretty quickly by the Pixma G4510 and their appearance is satisfying and very delimited with very small font sizes. We noticed some notes in the form of ink applied, some passages seeming very slightly lighter than others.

The colour documents appear in bold with very well-contained colours that show no signs of smudge or seepage. The photos lack the contrast and vivacity of the six-color ink systems, but these are pretty vivid color impressions. However, the Pixma G4510 lacks resolution to display all the details in high resolution images, and the photos relate for example the Epson EcoTank and-7750.
